Today I'm taking a second look inside SoCal Coeds, a coed megasite from the folks at the Naughty America network. When I last visited, the site boasted a plethora of hot and sexy coeds getting naked for the camera as well as sucking and fucking for our viewing pleasure. You also received a nice amount of bonus access included in your membership. Let's take another look around and see what's changed since we were last here. Logging in, one of the first things I noticed is that they've redesigned and reorganized their members area. You'll initially be taken to the main network page where you'll find a listing of the most recent additions to the network as well as some handy menus up at the top of the page. These contain links to all of the sites included in your membership, some sorting/search options (you can sort things by model name or by category), and links to some of the interactive features here (a message board, blog, and live webcam shows). One of the biggest positive changes here is that they've done away with their "Tier" membership design (they used to split their sites up into two different "tiers" requiring membership to each to access all the sites) and now your $24.95/month membership fee gets you into all 24 sites in the Naughty America network. That's a great deal. Clicking on through to the SoCal Coeds members area, I was confronted with some bad news. What used to be an extremely large members area of 150+ models (each with multiple photosets and videos) has been reduced to a relatively small one containing just 39 (each with only one scene). In addition, it looks like they've done away with nearly all of the photo content and now offer pretty much videos only. I also noticed that the latest update is from back in 2007 so I'm not sure if they're even updating anymore. Ugh, sorry to see all of that. Ah well, let's check out what *is* here.
As I said, there's no longer any photo content here (well, I saw one set but that was about it) but they do offer a nice amount of video options. They split the scene into multiple parts and also offer a full-length version. Format-wise, older videos come in WMV and MPG formats while newer videos also offer an MP4 version. The WMV files also typically offer a few different quality versions...from low (160 x 120 at 38K) all the way up to what they call DVD quality (720 x 540 at 2000K) and a few versions in between.
The high-end videos look good...the 2000K vids aren't exactly what I'd call DVD quality but they still look quite nice and can easily be enjoyed at full-screen. I only saw one girl who had a linked photoset but when I clicked the link I got a Page Not Found error so I'm assuming all photo content has been removed. As far as subject matter, on the old site, I seem to recall a mix of solo posing and boy-girl hardcore material. Now, on the newer, smaller site they appear to have done away with the softcore posing and now only offer hardcore material. The scenes are pretty straightforward hardcore fun...they start off with the briefest of intros before jumping right into some blowjob action and usually some pussy eating. From there, there's some pussy fucking in multiple positions (missionary, doggie, cowgirl, etc.) and finally a cumshot to the chick's ass, face, or mouth. Pretty standard stuff but the girls are pretty damn hot.
As I mentioned in the intro, to give you more bang for your buck, there's lots of bonus content to be had here, most notably in the form of access to the other 23 sites in the Naughty America network. These include Naughty Bookworms, American Daydreams, My Sister's Hot Friend, Fast Times at NAU, Latin Adultery, My Friend's Hot Mom, My First Sex Teacher, My Naughty Latin Maid, Naughty Office, and many others. These are all great reality sites in their own right, featuring high quality content in a variety of themes. Although I was pleased to see that your membership at SoCal Coeds now gets you access to the entire Naughty America network, the site as a whole has gone downhill a bit. The number of models has been reduced by nearly 75%, they've done away with nearly all of the photo content, and I'm not sure if the site is still being updated. They also don't have the softcore and hardcore variety I remembered from my past review...everything is pretty much straight-up boy-girl hardcore now. On the plus side, they've got some nice looking, high quality videos with plenty of video options and best of all, your reasonable $24.95/month membership fee gets you access to the other 23 Naughty America members areas. At this point, it seems like SoCal Coeds will be more of a side treat compared to the rest of the network...check out the scenes here and then move onto the other sites, they're some of the best reality sites on the net.
