Simon Scans is a UK-based megasite featuring high quality photos and videos of sexy young fresh-faced babes. Simon's been scanning for quite awhile now; I believe his site started back around the year 2000. Simon Scans gives us some slick navigation, great organizational features, and an impressive update schedule (10 photosets or movies per week), but by far the most notable aspect of the site is the quality of its huge archive (over 200,000 pics and 157 videos), which is simply superb. Let's take a closer look at Simon's site.
The Simon Scans members area looks cool and sleek with some art-deco style graphics and eye-pleasing colors. Beyond physical appearance, the site's got some nice organization going on as well. At the top of the main members page there's a menu (with additional drop-down menus) that connects you to all of the various sections of the members area. There's also a "Quick Links" section that links to such items as the Model Directory and the site's search engine. The rest of the page is has big graphical links to the latest updates to the picture and video sections as well as Simon's Diary/Shoot Log, and a few other items. One navigational glitch here: the "Home" choice in the top menu actually links to the main page of the free side, not the members area.
As with most large megasites, you'll find several ways to access the content here at Simon Scans. The Latest Updates section lists all of the additions to the site chronologically and you can also check out the Model Directory for an alphabetical listing of all of the babe they have available here. The Directory offers some sorting options in and of itself (Amateur, Pro, MILF, First-Timers, etc.), but there's also a search engine here that allows you to scour the site based on a huge variety of characteristics including breast size, clothes, country, hair color, how hardcore the content is, and many more. In addition to all of these options, you can also sort the models based on what other members think of them in the Top Rated Models section. However you decided to do it, once you've selected a model, you'll be taken to her main page which lists all of her photographic and video content. Let's start by taking a look at Simon's pics.
First off, the photo quality at Simon Scans is stellar. Everything is very well-lit and incredibly clear. There's no question that Simon's photography is the perfect complement to his young models: both of them are simply exquisite. In all of the sets I checked out, the picture size was extra large as well, with the images consistently weighing in at 748 x 1124. One other cool feature Simon offers with each photoset involves zip files: not only can you download the entire photoset as a zip, you can also select specific pics throughout the series (by checking a box next to each one) and download a custom zip file as well.
Checking out the video section of SimonScans.com, you'll find 156 movies available. Organizationally, I wish they had some way to jump around to various pages of the archive; as it is, you have to keep hitting More Movies in order to see everything. Anyhow, some of the full vids are broken up into multiple clips, others are not. All of the videos I checked out were available in in both WMV and MPG format (they have a slot for AVI files, but none of the videos seemed to have them available). Quality-wise the videos look great, with the WMV movies looking slightly better than their MPG counterparts. The WMV vids weigh in at 352 x 288 with bit rates ranging anywhere from around 500Kbps (the earlier clips) to roughly 900Kbps (the more recent stuff). They're super clear, well-lit, and nicely shot. The MPG versions look nice too although, as I mentioned, they're slightly poorer quality.
The vast majority of the content at Simon Scans is solo girl with the occasional girl-girl scene thrown in. There's a great variety of women here and they're all pretty hot, with some being downright gorgeous IMO. I didn't recognize any of them either, so Simon does a good job of getting fresh-faced babes to pose ofr him. Usually the shoots follows the same pattern: the chick poses in a sexy outfit, strips naked, poses some more, and then pleasure herself with fingers and a variety of toys (the videos focus primarily on masturbation). There's both pussy and anal play and you can tell the girls are sincerely enjoying themselves as they masturbate themselves to real orgasms. There's a nice mix of indoor and outdoor locales and good amount of close-up and spread shots as well, for those of you who like to get close to the action :-)
The main interactive element here is a Shoot Log that Simon keeps which is sort of a diary chronicling his experiences shooting the women for his site. The Log also includes a few pics with each entry. Simon's Shoot Log is available on the free side of the site if you want to check it out (surf through the entire tour and then click Browse The Site, it's listed under the Free Stuff menu). Simon also has a cool member Q & A section where you can submit questions to him and he'll post the answers on the site. It looks like he also mixes in some pics with answers, which is cool.
