I'm a Nympho Review

Im-a-Nympho.com is the home of Alanna, a cute blonde babe, who (as her site name declares) is a swinging nymphomaniac. Usually when girls proclaim that they are nymphos or sex-crazed, I figure it's mostly just hype for their site. In this case however, believe the hype! Alanna sucks and fucks pretty much any guy or girl she can get her hands on (sometimes 2 or 3 or more at a time) and often brings along her girlfriends to do it! Her and her husband Seth have been online for awhile (1999/2000) and they've compiled quite a large archive of content (mainly pics) for you to check out. There's also a ton of personality in Alanna's site from her 6 weekly webcam shows to her diary and lengthy biography, as well as other things throughout the site. Anyhow, let's get started and see what we got...

First off, Alanna's members area is part of a larger network (with the apt moniker of Porn Central) which contains 9 other sites, 3 of which have been reviewed here at QAP: Deja Vu Girl (Arianna), Asian Kimmi, and Kylie Samone. The Porn Central main page (which you're taken to when you click through Alanna's members entrance) is pretty clear cut with thumbnail links to all 10 sites in the network across the top and an update schedule (things are updated here every day, with new Alanna stuff coming in on Tuesdays), a link to a Welcome Page, and some other random links and such scattered around the bottom. There's also an option at the bottom of the page to sort the Porn Central content (or at least Alanna's, Arianna's, and Kylie's) by subject (i.e. Oral, Anal, Interracial, etc.). Anyhow, Alanna's site is the first thumbnail in line at the top, so I clicked right through to her members area.

Alanna's main members page is straightforward, if a bit amateur-ish. One main graphic, blue background, and white text. Easy to navigate though. Across the top are links to Alanna's member content, including Pics, Videos, Camshows and other stuff. In the center of the page is Alanna's diary in which she writes quite lengthy entries every 1-2 days. To the left there is a list of what is (or will be) the most recent update for that day and a Tag board where you can post a quick message and Seth, Alanna, or the other girls can respond to you. Now that you know the basic setup, let's dig into the content...

The Im-a-Nympho Photo section is divided into two big sections: Newest Photo Galleries and Older Photo Galleries. It looks like the "older" sets aren't really that old; Alanna simply lists her 6 most recent updates in the Newest section and moves everything else to the Older area when its time is past (aww, poor little outdated photoset ::sniff::). Anyhow, checking out the newest section, I found 1256 pics in the 6 updates listed there alone (one series has nearly 500 pics in it!). All of the pics in the new section were good quality and very large (around 700 x 1000). I was pleased by the variety offered even in just these 6 sets: girl-girl, interracial sex, vegetable masturbation, party/convention pics, and costume roleplaying. Ok, that looked nice, now on to the rest of the photos. There are 148 galleries in the Older Pics section and a whopping total of 19,543 (yes, I counted them for you) pics for you to check out. Each photoset is divided into multiple galleries (some have 2, one I saw had 23) and each one also has a small description of the action included with it. Needless to say, there's a ton of shit here, and it's pretty much all hardcore. As I said earlier, Alanna really lives up to her Nympho title! There's a ton of girl-girl action, boy/girl, anal, threesomes, groups, wild swinger parties (complete with a sex swing--how appropriate), multi-girl BJ's, facials, interracial sex, food play, some solo masturbation shoots, and even a bondage set. Primarily though, you get to see Alanna doing what she does best: fucking and sucking any guy or gal who strikes her fancy. Quality wise, the pics are all over the place and vary quite a bit. The same goes for size. Some are 600 x 800 while others are 525 x 700 and smaller. Also, due to the spontaneous nature of a lot of the pics, there are some lighting issues and quite a few blurry pics mixed in as well.

Navigation wise, I wish there had been a Home or Main Page button thrown in there somewhere along with the links to all the Photo pages. My feeling is: if you have to use the Back button more than a couple times to get back to where you were before, a link is probably needed. It's weird because some of the pages (like the first page of the Video section) do have links back to Alanna's main page and Porn Central, but the majority of the pages (none in the Pics area) do not. There are some other design inconsistencies like this (pages change color, different look/setup to different pages, incorrect titles on pages) but luckily most didn't affect navigation.

Next, I took a look at Alanna's video section. She has over 70 total videos available here, usually broken into 2 or more separate clips. Most of the videos (the whole thing) are 15-30 minutes long, some under 10 and others (mostly past camshows) are nearly an hour. Unfortunately, I had some problems with the video area right from the start. First off, when I clicked on the link for the first clip of the first video (a fetish vid), it actually linked to the clips of the second video (an old vid billed to be Alanna's first ever video, shot on her honeymoon) directly below it. The Part 1 link of the fetish film linked to the large version of the honeymoon video, the Part 2 and Part 3 links both linked to the dial-up version of the same video. The other odd thing was that the honeymoon video is listed twice (and linked three times if you count what I just talked about) on the page with two different descriptions. Anyhow, while that is just simple coding error (no biggie), the thing that I probably had the biggest problem with is the fact that the videos are not downloadable. Apparently (so sayeth the note at the top of the page), Alanna's videos are being switched to a Windows Media Server, which does not allow downloads. I'm not totally sure what that means but irregardless of the reasoning behind it, the long and the short of it is that you can't download the videos to your hard drive; when you click on a clip, an HTML page spawns with a built-in WMV viewer and the video starts playing. These things are usually pretty small, so you'll probably want to launch the stand-alone WMV player (there's a link provided to do just that). One other weird thing was that for some of the earlier vids (which incidentally are in mpg format) I kept getting this strange error page with a little cartoon cop on it saying "Stop! You're not authorized to view this page". I'm not sure what was going on with that, but I also encountered similar problems with some pics on Kylie's site. Maybe some funky stuff is going on while they switch to that new server they mentioned.

Anyhow, as far as quality goes, Alanna usually (but not always) has two versions of her vid clips available: one for dial-up and one for broadband. The quality of the Broadband versions varied a bit over time (perhaps due to equipment upgrades along the way). One of the more recent Broadband vids looked very nice (320 x 240 at 696Kbps) and quite clear at full screen. However, an earlier clip (this time 320 x 240 at 221Kbps) didn't look as good and was pretty pixelated at full screen. The color and lighting seemed screwed up on some of the clips as well. Moving on to the dial-up clips, things were predictably of lower quality. The problem is that there is such a drop in quality and size (160 x 112 at 34Kbps), that some of the clips become pretty much unwatchable. It seemed like there should have been some middle ground between the dial-up and broadband clips. However, if the clips are no longer downloadable and must be streamed to be viewed, perhaps the much lower quality is the only way to pull that off. Anyhow, it's a shame because content-wise, the videos looked good, containing pretty much what you'd expect from Alanna once you've checked out her pics. Sucking, fucking, groups, girl-girl, a black gangbang, anal, facials, and more. Great stuff, now if only I could download these mofos.

Alanna does an incredible amount of live camshows. She does a single show on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and TWO shows on Thursday for a total of six weekly! The networks she performs on are Camz, Sex Cam Central, Home Grown Cams, and Amateur Cam House. As you may already know, this also gives you access to all of the other shows and performers on all of these cam networks. One of Alanna's shows is a more private show for just her members and another one is Alanna's weekly installment of her amateur porn gameshow, Penis or Plastic (more on this later). Alanna can also be seen 24/7 on Housecamz which provides you with 24hr spycams of 20 girls. In addition, there's also a handful of other cams (VoyeurDorm, VoyeurCams, PornstarCamz [part of Camz] and GayCamz [also part of Camz, and not sure why you'd want to watch it]) and a link to KSEXradio linked from Alanna's Cam page. There were also links to cams of two other amateurs, but they didn't work when I tried them. In addition, there are some live feed/chat links but they are all upsell type stuff like Pornication and Spread 4 U. The main attraction here is Alanna's impressive amount of live performances. Excellent.

Alanna's "Behind the Scenes" area contains 39 videos (available in large and small versions in wmv format) of bloopers and various funny and goofy footage that was not used in "official" updates or video additions to the site. The good news here is these videos CAN be downloaded. The bad news is I'm not sure if you'll want to, as they seem to be less jerk-off material and more for humor's sake. On the plus side, Alanna's bubbly personality comes through in the clips, so fans of her will probably want to check these out at least once.

Speaking of personality, Alanna's site is awesome in this respect. In addition to her incredibly frequent webcam shows, Alanna also has an extensive biography on the site which describes how her site came about, her opinions on sex and swinging, her hobbies and interestd, and lots of other stuff. Regardless of content, her charm comes through in her writing and she seems like a really sweet girl. There's also a piece written by Seth entitled "Our Story" which you may be interested in, but make sure you've got a comfortable chair and a beverage of your choice 'cuz it's looooong. Anyhow, the point is if you like to get to know your amateur webgirl on a more personal level, Alanna is an excellent choice.

Lastly, just a word on Alanna's bonus content. The main bonus here is of course the 9 other sites on Porn Central that you gain access to with your membership. Kylie Samone, Asian Kimmi, and Deja Vu Girl you can read about here on QAP. Penis or Plastic (which I mentioned earlier) is a unique camshow idea in which guys (I don't think you have to be a member) travel to Michigan to be a part of Alanna's live show and compete to get it on with Kylie, Arianna (Deja Vu Girl) and Alanna. I've seen it a few times and it's pretty funny. The guys answer questions like a quiz show and then the chatroom and the girls themselves vote on who should win or whether the girls should stick with toys (hence the plastic) for the evening.

Bottom Line

Alanna's site was a little difficult to score. She had some design issues going on, but nothing that really hindered navigation and of course as an amateur surfer, you probably aren't expecting the flashiest site around anyway. She has an enormous archive of hardcore pics and videos, but they (especially the older stuff) leave a bit to be desired in the quality department. Her price is a bit higher than a lot of amateurs, but you do receive access to quite a bit of content in both hers and the other bonus sites' members areas. I guess the deciding factor here (assuming you like Alanna's looks) has to be Alanna's personality and interaction with her members. If you want DVD quality video and could give a rat's ass about interacting with the chick you're jerking off to, you might want to look elsewhere. But, if you like "real" amateurs, girls with real personalities, who do their sites for fun and like chatting with, performing for, and even meeting and fucking their members, then you will most likely be happy with Alanna, The Nympho.
